Privacy and terms

Last updated 8 November 2026. YAHYIAM (yahyiam.mcadesk.org) is a free directory of event suppliers in Ghana, run as a project of MEYE CATHOLIC ASOREBA.

What we collect

• Your account: your name, email address and phone number. If you sign in with Google, we receive only your name, email address and profile picture from Google.
• Supplier listings: the business details, photos, prices and WhatsApp number a supplier (or a field agent, with the supplier's agreement) puts on a listing. These are shown publicly so customers can contact the supplier.
• Quote requests, reviews, reports and loan enquiries: what you type into these forms, and the name and phone number you give. A quote request is seen only by the supplier you send it to and our staff; a loan enquiry only by the loan partner you choose.
• Payments: online payments are handled by Paystack. We never see or store your card or mobile money PIN; we keep only the amount, date and payment reference.
• Simple counts: how many times a listing is viewed and its WhatsApp or call buttons are tapped, without identifying who tapped.

How we use it

Only to run the directory: showing listings, letting you sign in, passing your quote request or enquiry to the supplier or partner you chose, checking listings are genuine, paying our field agents and coordinators their commission, and sending you text messages about your own listing or requests. We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.

Who can see it

Public listing details are visible to everyone. Account details are visible only to you and our staff (admin and the regional coordinator for your area). Our service providers store data for us: Supabase (database and sign-in), Cloudflare (website and photos), Paystack (payments) and, if switched on, Arkesel (text messages).

Your choices

You can edit your details under My account at any time. To delete your account or a listing, or to ask what we hold about you, email [email protected] and we will act within 30 days.

Terms of use

• Listing a business is free. Paid Top spots, Featured places and event flyers are optional and are not refundable once they have started showing.
• Suppliers must give true details and may only list a business they own or are allowed to represent. We may hide or remove any listing, review or flyer that is false, offensive or a scam.
• YAHYIAM introduces customers to suppliers; we are not part of any agreement between them. Agree prices in writing and avoid paying the full amount before your event.

Rights to photos and media

YAHYIAM does not own the rights to the media used on this site. Category photos are free images from Unsplash. Photos, flyers and logos on listings belong to the suppliers and event hosts who posted them; by posting, they confirm they may share them and allow YAHYIAM to show them on the site. To ask for an image to be removed, email us.
